The proverb “the road to Hell is paved with good intentions” suggests that intentions without corresponding actions are useless and even harmful. But good intentions can also be the powerful seeds by which significant life change can take hold and grow. 

What moves us from intention to action? How can we sustain our aspirations when the action required is challenging or positive outcomes seem elusive? 

Ordained in 2010, Rev. Terry Davis has served as the full-time minister at Unitarian Universalist congregations in St. Louis and Atlanta. Prior, she completed a year-long residency at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, serving as the chaplain for the maternity center and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). 

A graduate of Candler School of Theology in 2008, Rev. Davis worked for 25 years in the field of corporate and investor communications before entering UU ministry. Along with her spouse, Gail, and their dog Miles, Terry currently divides her time between Atlanta and Asheville. She enjoys walking, hiking, and the company of friends.
