One of the two dispatchers for Interfaith Assistance Ministry UU Drivers has recently retired. So not only do we need two or three new drivers, but we need a back-up dispatcher. The work involves 15 minutes or so on the phone six or eight times a month. You don’t even have to be at home if you take your cell phone and the list of drivers when you go out. The calls from IAM come only between 9:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. If there is an occasional time when you’re not available to take a call that’s okay.
