We are very excited about our programming for this year! A lot of thought and care have been put into making our program relevant to, and engaging for, our families. The one thing we need is your participation. We have something of value to offer to the families of this congregation, and we encourage you to commit to being part of it. The more your children are here, the more at home they will feel and the more they will want to come. Like anything else that matters, the more you put into it the more you get out of it. Let’s do it together!

RE Parent Survey
If you have a child or youth in our RE program, you recently received a Parent Survey online. We encourage you to please take a few minutes to complete it. We need your responses by September 8. In order for our programming to meet the needs of our families we need your input. We promise it won’t take long to complete and it will be a big help to your RE Committee!

RE Kick-Off
Our RE Kick-Off will take place September 13 after our Ingathering service. We will meet on the Playground (weather permitting; if not, in Fellowship Hall) at 12:30 for lunch and conversation. We have some great plans for this year. Please join us!

Teacher Orientation
Teacher Orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, in the Log Cabin. We will gather at 6:00pm for dinner and will finish by 8:00pm. We will be discussing our upcoming year as well as some new safety measures we have put in place. There also will be planning time for our Teaching Teams. Please attend. Childcare will be provided upon request.

Youth Plans
This fall our youth will be getting to know the youth from the Brevard congregation. We are planning to visit them one Sunday in September and they will come see us in October. Then the youth can make plans to attend the Youth Cons at The Mountain this fall together. It’s good to get to know the other UUs in our area.

We have lots of great things in the works, and hope you will make UUFH a priority for your family this year.

Together, we can make a difference!
