Our Annual Holiday Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, November 11th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We are having it earlier in the fall this year and hope the earlier date will increase community and congregation participation. Everything else remains the same. Set-up for vendors will be available Friday, November 10, from 1:00pm on.
We have space for 18 vendors to sell quality handmade items appropriate for the gift-giving season. As in the past, we will feature baked goods, pottery, jewelry, photography, notecards, woodworking, knitted goods (get those mittens and scarves for the Giving Tree!), woven items, and donated holiday decorations, to name just a few!
Vendors who are UUFH members or friends receive free tables and are asked to donate 25% of proceeds to the fundraiser. Outside vendors are welcome to purchase tables: $60 for full size and $30 for a card table size. The quality and variety of our Craft Fair has always been outstanding! If you are interested in being a vendor, please call Barbara Eck at 595-4235 to sign up.
This event is a major fundraiser to support the mission of UUFH. Unless you are selling donated goods, you must have a NC sales and use tax ID number (or be willing to get one). Past experience has shown that items priced under $25 sell best, and the $5-$20 range does best of all. All goods sold must be handmade by our vendors. No yard sale items allowed. Help us get the word out to others in the community!
The Bake Sale table will once again be managed by our wonderful Becky Elston! Please contact her if you would be willing to bake items or help. This is always one of our best-selling tables! It’s a great way for our RE families to participate.
We will not be having a Treasure Table of donated collectibles and other quality items this year.
Please plan on participating as a vendor, a helper, a shopper, or all three!
