Saturday, April 26, 8:30am-12:30pm, Fellowship Hall
Led by Rev. Roy Reynolds, hosted by the Strategic Planning Task Force
What will our congregation be like a year from now? Three years from now? Five years from now?
On Saturday, April 26, we will have the opportunity to dream together and craft some answers to these and other questions that will lead us toward a plan for the future of UUFH. UU Minister Roy Reynolds will guide us in naming and exploring the strengths and gifts of UUFH. Rev. Reynolds will help us explore what we, as individuals, care about and how we want to grow as Unitarian Universalists. The discussion will move from individual gifts and yearnings to the longings and loves of shared faith journeys. When these coalesce in community, they evoke a sense of our spiritual identity.
Everyone – members, friends, old, young and in between – is encouraged to participate. We want to know what you care about and how you want to grow as a part of the UU Fellowship of Hendersonville. Together, we will name the many ways in which the Fellowship shines as a community. We will discover our strengths and share pride in our congregation’s effectiveness. We’ll use small group discussions to discover how our gifts can touch and influence our community. Finally, we will gather to share our visions and hopes for UUFH in the future. With this positive approach, we will name and celebrate the gifts that keep us coming back, reaching out, and touching lives. Please mark this on your calendar and plan to attend!
