This phrase of Howard Thurman’s describes darkness as full of light. On this Solstice Sunday before Christmas, the dark of the solstice grounds us in the soul of the season and the depth beneath the bright holiday displays. In this service we embrace the interconnected realities of dark and light, soul and spirit and in so doing we make the spirit of the holidays and Christmas, real. A traditional Solstice Ritual will be shared by Regina Hutchinson, Shelly Kingsley and their assistants.
