“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never harm me.” Do you agree with this old adage? As we explore the power of words to hurt or to heal, we invite you to reflect upon how words have walked with you along the paths of your life. We will bring back the RE children for this service and revisit June’s worship theme, “Revelry,” for some “theater for all ages.”
Judith has been a UUFH member since 2010 and is a graduate of the “Share the Pulpit” class of last fall and a current member of the “Homiletics” (preaching) class with Joan Kahn-Schneider. More and more UU congregations are seeking new ways to practice shared ministry, and Judith is happy to take a leap of faith and share her reflections with us. A retired educator from Connecticut, she has enjoyed a variety of pursuits, from American Airlines service specialist to Colorado skier and from dog rescuer to art and antiques enthusiast.
