February 8 – 10:30am

Pat Wakeley

We’ve all heard that spiritual practice of one kind or another can lead to inner peace. Meditation, mindfulness, and their cousins can help us feel centered and emotionally steady. Yet some days are so hectic, so over-committed to endless tasks, that there is no time for meditating or any other practice. With forethought, however, and faith that inner peace is possible, we can find the perspective and calmness that will help us get through the most frazzled day.

Pat Wakeley, a UUFH member since 2001, is one of the first graduates of the preaching class held last fall. Here she reflects on spiritual practices that have worked for her on her busiest days – and may also work for you.
