Celebrating Janus, the Roman god of transitions, seems almost anti-climactic in the context of the year that just ended. We are all changed, some more than others.  In this service of sharing, let’s celebrate not only who we are, but who, and what, we may become.

Bob MacDicken and his wife, artist Eileen Ross, are former members of UUFH and live in Black Mountain. Bob recently retired after more than 14 years as minister of Hickory’s UU Church of Catawba Valley. He has served in a variety of ministerial positions for more than 50 years. In addition to his ministry in churches, Bob has more than 30 years of teaching and training experience.
