In my early thirties I had an experience that opened me to a sense of something more, something beyond how I was used to organizing and understanding my thinking and experience. The exploration that followed brought me to Unitarian Universalism and my current understanding of religion as a word of orientation; orientation in the more and the mystery into which we are born. If one is to be open to mystery, how does one the go about discerning what is real and true and good? Part of the answer involves communities of discernment, communities of faith like UUFH where we “celebrate life [not only] in all its joy, [but in its] mystery [as well].”

As well, the congregation will welcome 19 new members to UUFH this Sunday! Come and be part of the welcome ceremony!
