This was the theme for Hendersonville’s Martin Luther King Day Unity breakfast; not “I have a,” but “I am the.” The dream that becomes real will be the dream I live; the one I realize through the actions and practices, loves and commitments of my life; it will not just be dreams I have, always somewhere beyond me, but the dream I am, and am becoming. This is Outreach Sunday for the Dream scholarship helping some of Hendersonville’s children realize their dream. A scholarship student will share how much this has helped them. We will speak to the dreams we are.
