“When we get to it” is now, and it’s ours to cross whether personally or as a society. What are your bridges to cross? This is Selma Sunday. “On March 8, Unitarian Universalists will join the people of Selma on the Edward Pettus bridge to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the bridge crossing in 1965.” 50 years ago, Martin Luther King put out the call (by telegram) for people of faith to join him in Selma. Unitarian Universalists responded. We gather to remember, be informed and inspired by the commitment and resilience of all who gathered there, and to answer the call for justice and a full life for everyone.
