Thanks to Tom Repici, Ken Schmidt, Ron Partin, Bill Mahler, Donn Swift, and Ron Hollmeier, the mold problem is solved and resolved. Tom discovered there were several places where the downspout was not connected to the gutters of the church building. This solved the source of the water problem in the nursery closet and the women’s bathroom. Through the leadership of acting chairperson Ken Schmidt, Ron Partin, Bill Mahler, and Ron Hollemier went to work and removed the mold, applied a mold killing seal, and painted the walls. An outside estimate for the work was $2,800 for the women’s bathroom alone! This dedicated team got the job done for about $300, meaning significant savings for UUFH. Thanks to you all!
