Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, December 6, 10:00am-3:00pm, Fellowship Hall
UUFH will once again be holding its Holiday Craft Fair on the first Saturday in December. There are four ways you can participate, and YES you can do all four if you wish!
First, we need vendors! Tables, either a full size or 1/2 table will be free to our Members and Friends. Outside vendors are again being welcomed. Their cost is $50 for a full table; $25 for 1/2 table. Outside vendorsalso are asked to contribute one item to our Treasure Table, or to make a donation to UUFH instead. UUFH vendors are asked to donate 20% of their proceeds to this important fundraiser. Many of our vendors donate more generously, and some donate their entire proceeds! Tables and your position in the room are on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up early!
You can be a volunteer! We need helpers for our Bake Sale, our Raffle, our Treasure Table, the RE table, publicity, and general ‘runners’ to spell vendors for breaks, make change, and help buyers take things out to their cars. We also need helpers for set-up Friday afternoon and cleanup on Saturday after 3:00pm.
You can be a buyer! This is a great opportunity for you to get those last-minute Holiday gifts and baked goods. We will again have a lovely collection of handmade jewelry, pottery, knitted and crocheted items, photography, art work, woodwork, quilted and stitched items, baked goods galore and, of course, our wonderful Treasure Table of new or lightly used items! Your $$ go to augment UUFH’s operating budget.
Finally, you can be a donor! You may donate your hand-crafted items to another vendor’s table for sale, or to our Treasure Table. We are looking for new or very lightly used valuable items for the Treasure Table. Please – no rummage-type offerings: we need high-quality items only. Donation forms will be available in the office so you can get a tax deduction for your donations. We also are looking for several ‘high-ticket’ items to raffle off!
Much more information will be coming soon. Please put December 6 on your calendar now and think of ways you can participate. Contact co-chairs: Sandy Denn or Barbara Eck to ask questions or sign up.
