Hendersonville Swing Band
Big Band
Sunday, June 16 at 3pm
A community treasure for over 20 years, the Hendersonville Swing Band, led by trombonist Jerry Zink, plays music of the Big Band era, and occasionally slips in a number from the “Modern” era. Nearly all the members of the 16-piece band are retirees. Not only does Zink introduce the concert tunes, he’ll include a few jokes, many which are as old as the music itself! This is the band’s eighth appearance at UUFH.
