What’s in the Future for UUFH?
You are invited to join the leaders, whether you are in a leadership position or not, in a day long workshop, Leading For the Future.  Rev. Dan Hotchkiss, author of Governance and Ministry: Rethinking Board Leadership, will help provide the framework for our congregation to move in the direction of greater spiritual growth and service through shared ministry.

As Ed Law said, “This is about who we are, where we’d like to be, and how we’re going to get there. If you want to be a part of that, come to the meeting. It’s a great opportunity. Dan Hotchkiss is doing the workshop, so we don’t have to read the book!”

We hope to have a recording of the training available afterwards.

Rev. Hotchkiss, a UU minister and long-time senior consultant for the Alban Institute, consults with congregations on strategic planning and board governance. Through his coaching, teaching, and writing, Dan touches the lives of a wide range of leaders. He helps congregations move beyond frustrating and ineffective ways of managing the work of boards, clergy, and staff. Good governance starts with clearly defined roles and authority; it succeeds when lay and professional leaders lead ministry together as collaborating partners in a shared ministry.
