The Fellowship has been served by two ordained ministers: the Rev. Charles Grady, who was part-time, and the Rev. Jim McKinley, who has been the full-time minister for more than twenty years. As Jim’s ministry comes to an end with his retirement, the Fellowship is seeking an interim minister who will serve for two years. We’re in search of the interim minister right now. We’re doing our best to show what a great congregation we are, to attract just the right interim minister to western North Carolina. One of the key factors for a congregation to be attractive to interim ministers is to have a functioning Committee on Ministries, since the mission of this committee is to help people understand how to work effectively with a professional ordained minister. If you have questions about what the Committee does, or want to discuss something about this issue, please contact any member of the COM.
