One of the most important functions of the Committee on Ministries is to discuss the “sense of the congregation” that each person keeps track of. At each meeting members discuss any changes in the congregation, either proposed or actual.
Members try to assess the scope of changes and analyze the ways in which staff and volunteers are being affected. They also discuss what’s more or less significant and what might become tangible in the future. Members use skills such as systems and critical thinking to make these discussions useful.
If you, or a group you’re part of, would like to be in touch with any member of the COM, please do so sooner rather than later. We look forward to being in touch!
