The Fellowship began its relationship with Unitarian Universalist ministers when the Rev. Charles Grady began his part-time ministry with the congregation. When Charles decided to retire, more than 20 years ago, the Fellowship called the Rev. Jim McKinley.

Later, the Rev. Judith Long became affiliated with the Fellowship as a community-based minister. The Fellowship has a Committee on Ministries to help the congregation learn about working effectively with UU ministers. We meet regularly to get a “sense of the congregation” and discuss how to help keep channels of communication open and clear.

We base our work on the concept that one way to strengthen a relationship is to make the choice to try to be loving rather than right. In this time of transition, we hope we can all strive to be loving.
