We’re getting ready for our 2017 Autumn Auction and we need your help. For our auction to be another great success, we need three things:
- Lots of great services and items for sale.
- A good group of buyers at the October 27 evening auction – add it to your calendar today!
- Lots of volunteers to help with all the details this event requires. (Contact Ron Partin to enlist.)
Most immediately, we need a great selection of items to sell. For ideas on what sells, check out the 2014 Auction Catalog (pdf) to see examples from a previous year. We are seeking services from you or your favorite local vendors, like golf courses or restaurants. New items, collectibles or antiques are welcome. Did you receive an extra blender Last Christmas that you don’t need? This is a great way to “recycle” it!
We need a completed contract form for each item. Triplicate forms are available at the UUFH office. Completed forms may be left in the box at the back of the sanctuary next week, left in the “Auction” mail folder in the UUFH office, or given to Ron Partin. The donor keeps the pink copy. The eventual buyer will receive the yellow copy.
