The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hendersonville is a place where we come together to investigate our dreams and build relationships in which we help each other work toward both our individual and common dreams. Holding this space requires financial support, and providing that financial support to a community we hold as important is one way we live our values.
This year’s pledge drive builds on the idea of sharing our hopes and dreams during a period of transition for the congregation. Every member and friend will be invited to attend a Pledge Party, hosted within the neighborhood group framework. There, you can share reflections on the past and visions for the future and enjoy light refreshments.
You will also be asked to make your annual pledge to the financial health of the UUFH. As you make your pledge, please consider the “Your Fair Share” guidelines, posted in Fellowship Hall and included in pledging materials.
Important Dates:
March 17: The official kick-off of the Pledge Drive, delivered by Meg and Todd Hoke. Following the kick-off, you will receive an invitation to a Pledge Party.
March 24: Rev. Marc Mullinax will deliver a reflection on the philosophy of abundance and the poverty of scarcity thinking.
March 31: Official end of the Pledge Drive, with a service headed by Rev. Jim McKinley.
