UUFH and SJOT will host a Social Justice Workshop sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry of North Carolina (UUJMNC)/UU Forward Together with Rev. John Saxon, Executive Director. The workshop, “Becoming a Justice-Making Congregation”, will give WNC UU social justice leaders and activists the tools they need to increase their skills, capacity, and effectiveness, and help their congregations create, nurture, grow, and sustain a vibrant, strategic, and spiritually-grounded congregational social justice ministry that, in relationship and partnership with others, will “give life the shape of justice” in their communities and beyond. UU social justice leaders and activists, ministers, social justice committees, lay leaders, and members of UU congregations are encouraged to attend. There is no cost for the workshop, but we’ll gladly accept donations to cover the cost of a light breakfast and lunch. Watch for additional details and registration information or contact Charlotte Corrigan (hcorrigan@msn.com).
