Your generosity in our November collection totaled $1568.65. Of this amount, 10% will transfer to the SJOT Fund for donations to local causes furthering Social Justice.
The balance will be distributed as follows: $200 to The Immigration Network, and $605.88 each to El Centro and Pisgah Legal Services. Each of these groups serves our immigrant neighbors in myriad ways including: Path to College programs, emergency relief responses, and legal support and advocacy. Thank you for your support of these groups.
Our next Outreach Collection will be in February as part of ongoing UUFH support of the Dream Scholarship program for undocumented immigrant youth. Our Youth Hunger Collection (for Feed the Kids Coalition and BackPack) will happen in Spring 2019.
