The shock and awe of the past two months may have left us sliding up and down the grief mountains of Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. Marc Mullinax will offer us a sixth way: quiet, behind-the-scenes Resistance. By “going low” and “going dark” we will negotiate new, unexpected resources of energy, community, and creativity patiently awaiting our discovery in the shadows and penumbras. These, he will reason with us, are required for the “living well” of these days by people of peace and good will. We were made for times such as these!

In his 13th visit to our pulpit, Marc Mullinax, professor of religion at Mars Hill University, will advance the notions that while our individualities are important enough, they are nothing compared to the force for good we are when we voluntarily unite in common cause and purpose.
