Rob Hardies of All Souls Church in Washington, DC calls “a spiritual posture of embrace.”

A retired speech-language pathologist, Susan has been part of UUFH for more than 10 years. She has participated in meditation and covenant groups, studied and worked with the sermon writing group, and is an RE teacher. Susan likens her sharing of today’s reflection to “speaking out of the silence,” a practice she engaged in during years worshipping with Quakers, one of several faith communities she has loved and learned from on her way to this time with you.
