It’s time to talk about both. Yes, my religious understanding is a compass, not a directive prescription. It doesn’t tell me how to vote or what political party to belong to. I do, however, understand the nature of being as inclusive; justice, equity and compassion are for everyone and love and reason must somehow trump fear and exclusion. My Unitarian Universalist traditions challenge me and give me strength.
