The AED is very easy to operate (the machine walks you through the steps) and you do not need to be a medical professional. The training session, including an 8-minute instructional video, should last no more than 15 minutes. To effectively use the AED, you need to have good hearing and be flexible enough to get on the floor to assist someone needing the AED. As a congregation, we need to familiarize ourselves and HOPE we never have to use it. Becky Elston will conduct the training session.
