Just a Beginning!
The Holiday Cookie Exchange on December 13 brought together many cookie lovers and some unusual and delectable treats to share. This first event of the Connections Team was a delightful (loved those Mimosas!) social kick-off to the activities being planned for the coming months. Along with neighborhood group gatherings, there will be many opportunities to join others with similar interests. Focal points for the first round of events are:

Recycle, Reuse, Repurpose!
Are you a person who loves to browse in thrift and consignment stores, which abound in our area? Or are you a person who would like to know where the best places are, and try resale shopping for the first time? You are not alone! There are quite a few of us, and I am one. Almost everything in my closet, and much in my home, is “repurposed”. Let’s get together for a fun day of browsing, shopping, and discovery with lunch in the middle. If this is a hit, we can do it more than once.
